Oohh, i may have to drive out there and get a slice some weekend. Course 200 miles is quite a drive for pizza, maybe i can get them to deliver it.

I like Pizza, but what's the deal with putting Ham and Pinapple on the top? What makes those 2 ingrediants turn something "Hawiaan"...

I like Mc Donalds, as all the shops here are rather 'green' looking, and you get FREE Wi-Fi access, so you can have a cup of their brown stuff they call coffee and surf the net for FREE, and i like FREE...

The German McDonald's serve beer and I like beer. It's not free though. Oh Hell, the German high school cafeterias serve beer probably...

You get free WiFi in McDonalds? We have to go to Panera and eat expensive 'fancy' sandwiches for that. They have good coffee though.

Ham and pineapple on a pizza is an affront to any normal culinary sensibility. The practice should be banned. While pork and pineapple are a luau staple, at least nobody has decided that a 'Hawaiian' pizza requires poi. :P

Click the Eat Smart link. http://www.mcdonalds.co.uk/

Did you notice the green colour? MickeyD's is RED to me, but over the past few years it has been going green, in colour and outlook. Most 'food' places, MickeyDs Burger King Pizza Express etc offer FREE Wi-Fi access as Wi-Fi has been the focus of this supposed "connected world" for the past few years. Take my ISP (No please take it) is the major Telcom for the UK, and with my internet package i get unlimited Wi-Fi and as they have wi-fi hotspots everywhere, i can surf the net anywhere, even in Europe.

At the moment they are fighting the OED (Oxford English Dictionary) as they have a referance to McJobs, that basically describes a low paid job usually in the public service sector and MickeyD's does not like it. It is getting so good MickeyD's will soon be able to award Diploma's etc that have the same weight as qualifacations awarded at Schools and Universitys ! Now who said Burger Flipping had no prospects :)

Wi-Fi is good, but when you are sitting on the John Thomas Crapper one day taking a dump/number2/plopsie/crap and you find yourself on your Nintendo DS talking to people on IRC you suddenly realise that you cant escape. Laptop DS XBox etc went straight in to the bin. I notice that Wi-Fi is about to come alive in the States with all the airwaves being chopped up and sold, makes a nice bit of money for the government but they do not see the bad side on society that it can create.

Know thy market I guess. The US site is still very red. MORE RED MEAT!

There's no arguing with the OED. I think they are some kind of international law aren't they?

I'm one of those weird people that actually leaves his cellphone at home when I go to the movies. The geek side of me loves all this crap but the more I see some wanker walking around looking like Lt. Uhura with a bluetooth in their ear the more I want to just scream at them. Perhaps I should call them and then scream at them. There's no escape and unfortunately there's no escaping the dorks who haven't realized that there's no escape. In what way is John Q. Hobnob so important that they need to walk around looking like Jack Harkness on a Torchwood mission?

I believe McDonald's Eat Smart link is equal to an oxymoron.

Yea but i hear they are using real meat in their food. Atleast the chicken is chicken from what they say, not sure where their "real meat" hamburgers come from yet.

According to their site, a 'beef patty' consists of:

100% pure USDA inspected beef; no additives, no fillers, no extenders. Prepared with grill seasoning (salt, black pepper).

It does not, however, state if it's ground chuck or if its ground lips and assholes. And, salt and pepper! Exotic spices!

I also noticed that the US site doesn't say "Eat smart" anywhere on it which would suggest that either Americans know better (not likely) or we just don't don't care (very likely).
