cool

also,
If the server isn't showing up under normal servers let me know.
Technically it should, as I am running it as the game was designed, however, that doesn't mean beetlesmod is letting it through properly.

Check near the top if you search alphabetically (spaces in server title).

It is not showing up on any tab, for me. There was another TF2 update earlier, 5 in 7 days (ho ho ho so much for play testing) so perhaps your server is not updated yet.

Also the custom tab is only visable from the 'servers' option within TF2, so getting listed as custom = bad do-do indeed.

For a while running BM would get your server blacklisted, sorry thrown onto the custom tab but the sv tagging was meant to cure that.

Bring back WON.NET

It's showing up for me, it's up to date (as of this post), I connected, and now it seems the ratio of TF2 servers to players is 1:1 (haha, that's an exaggeration... almost).

However, I had some strange Steam problems.
Namely, it hung for 30 minutes. Ultimately I rebooted my system.

Also, I installed the NephDLX 2.1.
Just because it shows for me doesn't mean it's showing for anyone else.

Valve is trying too hard to be like Epic, sans the tweakability and cryptic command line variables.

I understand what Valve is trying to do, and I don't technically like what the Nephyrin(?) folks are doing, but if someone sells you a car with a flat tire, you have to replace that tire before you can drive off the lot.

Thanks for the info guys, and let me know how it goes. :)

I'll try to pop in this weekend if I don't get tied up in yard work.

Also, here's a little tidbit I ran across while doing my research (as I had been having this problem for a long time): If the "invite to game" option does not appear in your friends list when you're playing, change your status.
IE: if you are online, change it to away and vice versa.

It still is not showing up for me (not that i give two hoots as it is in my faves :) )

Perhaps it is because as of writting this valve have released ANOTHER required TF2 update. And do you want to know something, it appears that they have still NOT fixed the " ' exploit...
